Our voyage begins with a visit to the Wine Museum I Lecci –
then we must refine our senses…
• the colour of wine: we’ll visit a vineyard at Borgo Filicardo
and learn from the sommelier how to recognize the various tones
of colour of wine.
• the perfume of wine: at Poggio Capponi home farm, we’ll
refine our sense of smell and learn how to distinguish the
aromas of fruit, wood essences, etc.
• the taste of wine: a visit to the splendid Parri Farm’s
cellars – and at last it’s time to taste! And to learn which
wines go with which types of food… test the real examples in the
tasting session which follows our visit!
On our last evening, we will celebrate the end of our
mini-course with a gala dinner at I Lecci wine bar, based on
local produce, served with … all the very best wines!
